what is tes

TES stands for “Technical Entry Scheme”.

Through TES a candidate can join Technical and Engineering Branch of Indian army.

This entry is-

Only for unmarried male candidate.
Only for Indian citizen.
No written exam.
Notification- 2 times in a year (May/Oct)
Age - 16.5 yrs -19.5 yrs.
Education- 10+2 (with PCM -70% min)

There is no written exam in TES entry, You have to clear SSB INTERVIEW then medical exam.

After clearing medical exam ,if your name come in merit list ,you get joining letter for training.

Total 5 years of Training-

1 year at OTA, Gaya and 4 years training at “cadet training wings”.

After completion of training , candidate get “Lieutenant” Rank and sent to army's units.
